The most common misunderstanding about an end of lease clean is that it covers everything. It covers a great deal, but there is a difference between cleaning and repairing, and between what a professional cleaner can address and what a property manager will flag regardless of how clean the place is.
What is included in a Nest and Nurture Society vacate clean

- All bathrooms detailed including shower screens, tiles, grout, vanity, toilet and any ensuite
- Laundry cleaned including trough, appliance exteriors and floor
- All floors vacuumed and mopped throughout the property
- Skirting boards wiped, window sills cleaned and door frames wiped
- Inside windows cleaned where reachable
- Spot cleaning of walls: marks, fingerprints and light scuffs
- Cupboard and drawer interiors wiped out
What is not included, and why it matters
Wall washing is not included in the standard vacate clean. Spot cleaning is. Spot cleaning removes fingerprints, light scuffs and individual marks. Wall washing is a full scrub of painted surfaces to remove years of grime, crayon, grease, mould or heavy staining. It takes significantly longer and is priced as a separate add-on.
If your walls have been through young children, pets, cooking steam, or years of life, book the wall wash add-on before the clean. If you do not, and the agent flags the walls at the inspection, that is not a cleaning failure. It is a condition issue that cleaning alone was never going to fix.
What an agent actually checks
Agents run through a property condition report room by room. The oven and rangehood are almost always worse on vacate than ingoing. Shower screens and grout build up quickly. Floors show scuffs and dirt. Walls get checked when there was visible marking at ingoing.
A professional vacate clean covers the cleaning side of all of these. What it cannot address is damage: chips, holes, paint deterioration, carpet staining beyond surface dirt. Those are property condition matters, not cleaning matters.
The honest version of a bond back guarantee
A cleaner can only guarantee the cleaning. Whether you get your bond back depends on the overall condition of the property, what the ingoing report recorded, and what the agent deems a reasonable state of cleanliness. A professional clean done properly deals with the cleaning side completely. The rest is the condition of the property.
