Most cleaning jobs in Melbourne are vague about money. Nest and Nurture Society is not. The pay model is simple: the cleaner is paid the job hourly rate minus a flat 20 dollars per hour.
The flat fee, not a percentage
Many agencies take a percentage of every job. Nest and Nurture Society keeps a flat 20 dollars per hour, full stop. The cleaner keeps the full upside.
The 50 dollar per hour minimum
- Customer pays: 70 dollars per hour (at the minimum)
- Business keeps: a flat 20 dollars per hour
- Cleaner takes home: 50 dollars per hour, and more on premium jobs
When you get paid
Every Wednesday. The customer pays before the job. Pay is released for system-complete jobs only: GPS check-in, before and after photos, and a Complete tap in the app.
What the cleaner never has to deal with
- No percentage skimmed off larger jobs
- No chasing customers for payment
- No 30-day invoicing or late pay
- No customer acquisition or marketing of their own
- No guessing what the customer actually paid
