Cleaning Costs - Ballarat

What Affects the Cost of a Cleaner in Ballarat?

Two cleans in the same suburb can cost wildly different amounts. Here is what actually drives the price of a cleaner in Ballarat.

People often expect a single price for a cleaner and are surprised when quotes vary so much. The truth is that cleaning cost is driven by a handful of clear factors, and once you understand them the pricing makes complete sense.

The size of the home

More rooms means more surfaces, more floors and more bathrooms, so a larger home naturally takes longer.

The type and depth of clean

A maintenance clean keeps an already-clean home fresh. A deep clean or vacate clean reaches the oven, rangehood, grout, skirtings and inside cupboards, which takes far longer. You are paying for depth, not just floor space.

A clean is priced on what it reaches, not just how big the house is.

The 2.5 hour minimum

Our minimum job is 2.5 hours rather than the industry-standard two. Two hours in a busy modern home almost always becomes a rushed job. The extra half hour is what lets a clean actually reach a real standard.

How soon you need it

Short-notice cleans carry a surcharge: 30 percent for same day or next day, and 15 percent for bookings two days out. Bookings made three or more days ahead have no surcharge. This is shown clearly at checkout, never hidden.

What does not change the price

Because every clean is fixed price, the cost does not creep up while the cleaner is there and there is no hourly meter to watch.
