Nest & Nurture Elder Care
Professional In-Home Aged Care
For Families Who Will Not Settle
One verified carer. Your family member. Their home. Not a rotating roster of strangers managed by an agency taking most of the money.
The Problem With Agencies
Your Parent Deserves More Than a Different Face Every Week
Traditional aged care agencies charge families $85 to $115 per hour for a support worker. The worker receives $30 to $35. The agency keeps $50 to $65 per hour -- every hour, every visit, forever. That margin is not going into care. It is going into the agency.
The workers in those arrangements are underpaid, overworked and managed by a system that prioritises filling rosters over building relationships. Your family member gets whoever is available, not whoever knows them.
Nest & Nurture Elder Care fixes both sides. Families pay less. Workers earn more. And your family member gets one consistent, verified professional who actually knows their routine.
One Carer. Always.
Your approved carer comes every visit. Not whoever the agency has available. The same person who knows the routine, the preferences, the history.

Qualifications We Verify Before Anyone Works
Every carer on the Nest & Nurture Elder Care platform has their qualifications verified before their profile goes live. Not self-reported -- verified. You see compliance status on every profile before you request an interview.
We recruit from the pool of experienced aged care workers and nurses who have left agency work -- not because they stopped caring, but because the agencies stopped deserving them. Our carers are professionals who chose a better way to work.

Common Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
What qualifications do Nest & Nurture Elder Care workers have?
All workers hold a minimum Cert III in Individual Support (Ageing), a current National Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid and current vaccinations. Enrolled and Registered Nurses additionally hold AHPRA registration. All qualifications are verified before any worker profile goes live.
Can we meet the carer before booking?
Yes. All families complete an online interview with their chosen carer before any booking is confirmed. Browse profiles, review qualifications and complete an interview. Only proceed once you are happy with the match.
How much does private in-home aged care cost with Nest & Nurture Elder Care?
Support Worker care starts at $75 per hour with a 2 hour minimum. Enrolled Nurse care is $100 per hour. Registered Nurse care is $140 per hour. Overnight care is a flat $350 per shift. All pricing is fixed and shown before you confirm any booking.
Why is Nest & Nurture Elder Care less expensive than other agencies?
Traditional aged care agencies take $50 to $70 per hour from every booking as their margin, paying the worker $30 to $35 per hour while charging families $85 to $115. Nest & Nurture Elder Care charges a flat $20 per hour platform fee. The worker keeps the rest. Families pay less. Workers earn more. We just connect the two.
Will we always get the same carer?
Yes. Once you approve a carer as your primary worker, every booking goes to them. A verified backup carer is also assigned in case your primary carer is unavailable. Consistency is the point.
Can Nest & Nurture Elder Care help while we wait for a government package?
Yes. The Support at Home program waitlist can be 6 to 18 months. Nest & Nurture Elder Care provides private in-home care with no waitlist, no eligibility test and no bureaucracy. Many families use us while waiting for a government package, then continue privately because the quality and consistency suits them.
