What qualifications do I need to join Nest & Nurture Elder Care?
Support Workers need a minimum Cert III in Individual Support (Ageing), a current National Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid and current vaccinations. Enrolled Nurses additionally need AHPRA registration and a Diploma of Nursing. Registered Nurses need AHPRA registration and a Bachelor of Nursing.
How much do aged care workers earn with Nest & Nurture Elder Care?
Support Workers earn $55 per hour. Enrolled Nurses earn $80 per hour. Registered Nurses earn $120 per hour. All rates are fixed, visible and non-negotiable before you accept any booking.
Do I need an ABN?
Yes. Workers operate as independent contractors and need an active ABN. You can register for free at abr.gov.au. If you are currently registering you can still begin your application.
Does Nest & Nurture Elder Care find the clients for me?
Yes. Nest & Nurture Elder Care handles all client acquisition, matching and booking management. You do not need to advertise or find your own clients. Families browse your profile and request interviews. You decide whether the match is right for you.
Can I set my own hours and work areas?
Yes. You set your available days, hours and the suburbs you are willing to work in. You are only matched to families whose location and schedule align with your availability.
