The problem we built Little Ones to fix
Two things kept happening across the childcare system, side by side. Qualified educators were burning out in overcrowded centres, stretched across rooms of children they could never give proper attention to. And families could not get the one-on-one care they wanted for their own child - stuck on waitlists, or handing their baby to a rotating roster of staff in a room of forty.
Little Ones connects a qualified carer directly with one family. The educator gets to actually do the job they trained for. Your child gets a consistent adult who knows them. Both problems solved by the same simple idea.
How in-home childcare works
You are matched with a qualified carer whose availability, location and experience suit your family. They come to your home on the days and hours you book. Your child stays in their own space, with their own toys and their own bed for naps, cared for by one person who learns their routines and cues over time.
Transparent, flat pricing
In-home care starts at $40 per hour for one child, rising by $20 per hour for each additional child. Every rate is fixed and shown before you book. We take a flat platform fee each hour and the carer keeps the rest - no hidden agency margin, no percentage that grows as the carer earns more.
Every carer is fully verified
Before a carer is ever visible to families they must hold a verified Working With Children Check, a minimum Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, child-specific first aid, a national police check, pertussis vaccination and at least two years of verified experience. Every credential is checked at the source. You then interview and choose your own carer - nobody is placed in your home that you have not met and approved.
